Friday night my dad and I picked up this beast. After 3 hours of shenanigans at the dealer (price was $1500 more than initially promised. Funny how that happens) we took it back to my dad’s house and it does indeed fit in the garage.

Hard to see from this angle. DCLB or DCSB? My DCLB has a lot of trouble fitting pretty much anywhere. I’m getting better at backing it in to spaces.

I’m actually looking at one of these or a Colorado as my next vehicle...

My garage is even tighter than that. According to my measurements I’ll have around 8" on each side at the garage entrance, and 22" total of front-to rear clearance.

I have to be honest when I say that as much as I want one, if I can’t fit it in the garage it’s a deal breaker.

Yes. Ordered a TRD Sport bone stock (with tow package) and once the dealer got it, they added Tint and all weather floor mats. They snuck the Toyota advertising fee in (almost $700) too. When we left we left with free lifetime tint, door still guards, rear tailgate deals that Spells “TACOMA” in black. So at least they met us half way.

That was the reason my dad chose a Tacoma over a Tundra. He was going to do a short bed, then we measured and found out a LB would barely fit. I added a picture above, though it is blurry.

DCLB. We had to order it from the factory. Long beds are very rare here in Phoenix.

Yeah, that’s about how close mine would be.

I think I’ll have to rig up the old “tennis ball on a rope” setup to make sure I don’t pull in too far if that’s what I decide to buy.

Nice! Yeah I love having the space of a DCLB. Parking is obnoxious though, maybe I’m just bad at it but I have all but given up on pulling forward into spaces. I back into everything (the back up cam is SO NICE) and most parallel parking spaces aren’t long enough for me to fit either. It’s soooo nice when I go camping though. Everything fits without any lego stacking.

Yeah I was really impressed by the back up camera! My mom drives an MDX and the Taco Camera is probably 3x better!
